What we collect

Nova Browser is designed with privacy in mind. We collect the minimum data necessary to operate:

• Crash reports — Anonymous, opt-in crash data to improve stability.
• Update checks — Your browser version and OS to serve updates.
• Website analytics — Anonymous page views on novabrowser.com (no cookies, no tracking).

What we do NOT collect

• Your browsing history
• Your bookmarks or saved data
• Your search queries
• Any personally identifiable information

AI Assistant

When you use the Nova AI assistant, your prompts are sent to the Claude API (by Anthropic) to generate responses. These prompts are not stored by Nova Browser. Please refer to Anthropic's privacy policy for their data handling practices.

Nova Cloak VPN

The Nova Cloak VPN does not log your traffic, IP address, or connection timestamps. We use a strict no-logs policy.

Local data

All your browsing data (history, bookmarks, notes, settings) is stored locally on your device. Nova Browser does not sync this data to any server unless you explicitly enable sync features in the future.
